1.By submitting an application, it is understood and agreed that a representative from Love & Laughter Music will be contacting me to confirm that the information entered in the Directory is current as well as legally and professionally accurate. Failure to provide such information shall be reason for removal from this Directory. 2.Love & Laughter Music is not liable or responsible for the actions, contacts, agreements, relationships created, severed, or maintained as a result of the Professional Music Directory. It is not liable or responsible for the administration, collecting, or handling of monies/fees owed or due for services rendered as a result of this Directory. Such services, fees, contracts and rates are strictly the responsibility of each directory Member and the individuals or companies utilizing their services. 3.Love & Laughter Music shall not be responsible for reporting, maintaining, or administering personal tax-related matters concerning it's Directory members with the Internal Revenue Service, or the State of California. The directory Member understands that he/she is an Independent Contractor responsible for reporting and maintaining his/her own taxes, book keeping and records. Any transactions, financial compensation, deductions, royalties, work made for hire, or any other financial agreements and contracts shall be solely between the talent listings and individuals or companies requesting their services. 4.The Directory member agrees to pay an annual professional membership fee of $100.00 U.S. Dollars for the first year in order to maintain membership status. Annual membership fees shall be paid by cash or credit card on the anniversary calendar date of each subsequent yearly subscription of each member. Any returned checks and/or failed credit card transactions shall be subject to an additional 20% charge added to the total membership fee amount, until the total balance due has been paid in full. It is agreed by the directory Member that the inability to comply with the pre-arranged and agreed payment procedure as outlined above, warrants the discontinuation or termination of services and removal from this Directory listing, until payment has been made in full. 5.The Directory member hereby indemnifies, and agrees at all times to save Love & Laughter Music harmless against any loss or damage by reason of any adverse claim made or asserted by others in or to said membership services of any part thereof, and agrees that any and all sums incurred by Love & Laughter Music in the defense of any such claim of claims, including counsel fees, as well as any and all sums of whatever kind paid by it on account of any such claim or claims, whether paid pursuant to a judgement or decree of a court, an arbitration award or any settlement or adjustment or otherwise, shall, at all times be borne solely by the Member and may be deducted by Love & Laughter Music from any money accruing to the Member (if applicable) either hereunder or under any other agreement with Love & Laughter Music.
